This comprehensive teacher training will give you a strong foundation in yogic philosophy, theory and practice through a combination of in-person or live stream yoga classes, office hours with your instructors, in-person or livestream training weekends, supplementary video and audio content, handouts, supplementary reading, detailed materials to guide your process, and a global community forum to practice and connect with your peers and former graduates.

Yoga is the light of Self-knowledge and self-inquiry, students will be guided through potent personal development coaching. We can only teach who we are. This foundational training offers participants powerful tools for connecting with their heart, authoring their lives, and finding their True North.

Are you ready for a practice that touches the whole of you? To serve your community through the path of yoga?

Yoga isn’t for fitness, it’s for insight. It’s not for checking out, it’s for checking in.

Are you craving a practice anchored in ancient tradition that nourishes the whole of you?

This program draws from the wisdom of Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, mindfulness practices, personal development coaching, and modern movement research to offer a yoga practice that honors the body without being overly invested in the body.

This training is an invitation into a practice that equally nourishes the heart and invites healing to the mind. A practice that is playful, explorative, and non-dogmatic.

Honoring that there are are many lineages, many ways to be, teach, live, and seek. All are welcome here.

The WeEvolve Method™ will teach you a range of practices from vinyasa yoga to restorative sequencing, meditation, breathwork, and other practices to enrich your experience on and off the mat.

Ultimately we don’t do yoga to be good at yoga. We do yoga to better our lives.

Whether you are intending to teach or just craving more depth in your personal practice, this training is a transformational experience that will teach you to ask questions, to stay connected to your inner compass, and to lean into practice.

Ultimately practice is the teacher.

Our training is a non-dogmatic approach to yoga that invites you to weave a narrative all your own.

What Else Should I Know?

In addition to lectures with Selena and Dr. Sauer we are thrilled to host to support your learning.

Your trauma-informed teaching module is led by a Somatic Experiencing therapist Kara Stansbury and your Ayurveda education is provided by Michelle Berry. Michelle is an Ayurvedic health specialist with advanced training in Ayurveda and its healing modalities.

This training is not a fitness-based power training.

While you will learn the skills to teach vinyasa flow classes yoga was NEVER intended for fitness and as a school we honor yoga as a spiritual tradition and strive to be appreciative and not appropriative of this South-Asian practice.

Yoga's core teaching is that we are not our bodies and yet the body is the altar of life.

Yoga says we suffer because we overly invest in materiality and forget our true nature as spirit.

This course is designed to take you deeper into your heart and pursues yoga as the light of self knowledge.

This doesn't mean we won't play with arm balances or physically demanding asana but the orientation is different.

While Western yoga equates yoga with yoga poses and contortionism this training is anchored in the tradition and teaches yoga as a holistic practice ethics and life-style with practices far beyond the body.

It is in part our mission to pass on lineage teachings to the next generation.

The goal of yoga is not to lose your mind in your body. And yet the body is sacred and a potent vessel and practicing holistically can improve our health and longevity.

We will play in our bodies, learn to care for our bodies, challenge our bodies while keeping a profound awareness that yoga is more than a body-oriented practice.

Mind, body, breath is just. a platitude unless you do it.

Our mission is to teach you to practice and teach yoga in its fullness.

A body oriented practice is called in yoga "anga-banga sadhana" which means a limbless or harmful practice. The WeEvolve Method™ is sarva-anga sadhana or a "full-limbed" practice.

In this light all students move through personal development coaching, history and philosophy, and more.

If you're ready to play, to transform, to expand your thinking, and aching for a practice that is beyond a good sweat this is for you.

“Your yoga project is you becoming yourself”
