This training was offered livestreaming in 2024. You will have lifetime access to the program and you are welcome to email Selena to ask questions and to schedule a 30 minute call to ask questions as you move through the material.
The course was recorded over multiple weekends and is broken into modules for ease. Please note that there are a handful of images referenced in the course that are no longer available. This will in no way effect your ability to learn the material. All postures are demonstrated and practiced during the course. The program is discounted to reflect to lack of live interaction and the missing images. The content is stellar.

Who is this for?
This training is for anyone ready to deepen their relationship with rest. Yoga teachers will receive 50 hours of CEUs and a graduation certificate of completion. These hours may also be applied to a 1,000 hour teacher training with Selena.
Non-teachers will highly benefit from this work. It will provide you with a powerful home practice.
All of us deserve to to be empowered to take care of ourselves, to learn to tend to our inner landscape, and to provide self-nourishment. Being a teacher is not required.

Meet Selena
Selena is a renowned Teacher of Yoga and Meditation, dedicated to delivering transformative wellness experiences that inspire personal growth, creativity, and inner harmony. With extensive experience leading global retreats, she masterfully blends cultural exploration with yoga, breathwork, and meditation practices, guiding individuals toward clarity, balance, and renewed purpose.
As a Leadership Coach and Mentor, Selena empowers others to unlock their potential. Her academic foundation is complemented by years of experience guiding individuals towards personal growth. With extensive training in psychology, holistic therapies, and personal development methodologies, she has earned certifications in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Hypnosis, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) coaching which she applies to her clients. Her work fosters deep self-discovery, empowering participants to reconnect with their authentic selves and embrace a life of intention and well-being.
Selena holds an MPH from Boston University in International Public Health, a MA in Sociocultural Anthropology, and was a PhD Candidate. She is a Fulbright scholar and two time Cornell University Fellow.

Teachers wishing to graduate must watch the recordings, complete a written project within 1 year of completion. You will receive personal feedback.

Intensive Weekends
MODULE 1
Module 1
Weekend 1 you will learn about the physiology of rest, nervous system basics, practices for connecting with your inner landscape & calming the nervous system. Practicing containment, creating safe conditions, and experience restorative yoga practices.
MODULE 2
Module 2
In our second intensive weekend we will explore prop set ups and sequencing of restorative yoga classes. Breath practices and myofascial techniques *this is not a full myofascial training but you will learn simple techniques for integrating into your work and home practice.
MODULE 3
Module 3
You will learn implications of restorative yoga on the lymphatic system, nervous system, and longevity. Katonah Yoga™ restructuring postures.
