Devoted to Your Deepening

The Triadic Self

A Mytho-Somatic Journey for Meeting Life's Thresholds with Greater Meaning, Embodiment, and Soulful Awareness

There are seasons in life when we are asked to change.

A loss.

A transition.

A new chapter.

A calling we can no longer ignore.

These moments invite us into a deeper relationship with ourselves, our stories, our bodies, and the mystery of becoming.

The Triadic Self is a live, embodied exploration of myth, story, and somatic practice, it's a space to enter life's initiations with greater meaning, awareness, and presence.

THREE WEEKENDS ONE JOURNEY

Mythopoetics gives myth a voice.

Mytho-somatic practice gives myth a body.

Together, they invite us into a deeper relationship with the stories that shape who we are and who we are becoming.

Inside the Triadic Self®

Each module is a mytho-somatic storytelling lab weaving oral storytelling, mytho-somatic practice via The Emergence 360® dance and Katonah Yoga®.

This allows us to move beyond thinking through and using the mind to comprehend a story and instead to feel it, move it, and rewrite it through the body.

  • SYMBOLISM:

An image can rewire you. A good story, a moving image can rearrange your life. These stories open the aperture of the imagination, they give us new ways of understanding ourselves and our experiences, and guide us into deeper connection with the world around us.

  • Meaning Making.

Meaning making is an act of the human heart. How you make meaning shapes your life. You'll learn to make meaning that nourishes the life you want.

  • Somatic practice.

The body is the altar of life. We'll give the stories a place to land in and through the body and practice engaging with how the stories and our own stories show up in and are expressed and felt via the body.

  • Change work.

Gentle, precise interventions to map patterns, interrupt old scripts, and rehearse new responses that hold when life gets real.

  • Ritual and integration.

Simple rites, threshold practices, and journaling prompts you can carry into the weeks between weekends, anchors you can return to.

This is mythosomatic storytelling, the body, the fairytale, and your lived experience in conversation so that new futures become possible and safe enough to inhabit.

Three Mytho Somatic Modules

The Triadic Self® offers a mytho-somatic framework for meeting the great thresholds of a human life. Through the wisdom of story, myth, and the body, we explore how to navigate initiation, tend the difficult passages, and discover the gifts hidden within transformation. The stories become maps, the body becomes a guide, and our lived experience becomes the ground where meaning is made.

  • Initiation:

How do we meet the moments that ask us to change? We explore the stages of initiation and learn how to navigate thresholds, uncertainty, and the unknown with greater awareness and trust.

  • Tending the Underworld:

How do we work with the difficult places? We explore grief, anxiety, fear, and the parts of ourselves that emerge during times of transformation, learning how to listen for what they are asking of us, how to alchemize, and how to identify the blessing and the boon and bring it back to our personal "village."

  • Mining the Gold:

How do we uncover what becomes possible through challenge and change? We explore how stories, symbols, and embodied practice help us find meaning, wisdom, and new ways of being.

  • The Return:

We'll explore how to integrate our experience and turn hauntings into holy offerings and wounds into wells of wisdom. Story and the body show us the way.

They say that life doesn't come with a instruction manual and it doesn't, but our ancestors have left us a body of stories that are a remarkable guide. They are an act of remembrance and will wake you up to a new way of experience life and the beauty that is being offered to you at every turn.
